My week has been a little crazy…  I’ve had a terribly busy week and it’s not even over…  I’m busy at work and also at home…  I’m trying to keep up with the book club reading, the blogs I follow, writing in my blog, and daily chores and stuff….  I can’t seem to get caught up…  I’m running around like a lunatic…

I have another peculiar story to share…  Sunday, I met with the women’s 50’s group at Bonefish Grill which turned out rather nicely.  I enjoyed meeting all the ladies and just enjoyed the atmosphere…  One lady said something about using me for a photo of some kind, but when there’s too much noise around me, I don’t hear correctly…  I’m not sure exactly what she said, but I gave her my number anyhow…  We were all exchanging phone numbers and I didn’t see why not…  Well!  It turns out that there was no photo shoot…  Here I am thinking – I’m getting a photo taken…  How nice…  Well!  All she wanted from me was a Mary Kay facial and a before and after photo…  What a fool…  I politely excused myself and said, “NO”.  But I had a difficult time getting this woman off my back.  I couldn’t just hang up on her because I will have to see her once again, but I was at the verge of losing it…  Don’t know how I kept my composure… No matter how many times I said, “I don’t use Mary Kay or creams on my face”, she just wouldn’t lighten up.  I learned a huge lesson from this experience… Never ever give my phone out so easily.  I will make sure next time to understand things correctly and if I don’t quite get it, ask and ask until I understand it clearly…

In my humble opinion, this was not an event for marketing…  She should have joined a business women’s group instead…  I want to be able to go out and enjoy myself without having to worry about marketers…  We get enough of that everywhere we turn…  In Facebook, emails, it’s just everywhere…  I was not expecting it in a brunch…  I’ll be ready next time…

Glad tomorrow is Friday…  Have a few things happening this weekend and I’m looking forward to it…  Going to a Reiki Circle Saturday and on Sunday, I’ll be attending a crystal bowls/gongs meditation circle…  I shall let you all know how it all worked out…  This will be my spiritual weekend… Need some of that…  We all do…
